Pet Peeves About People!

We all have at least one pet peeve. I have a bunch! Something that makes your temperature rise and fuels the urge to pounce on someone that is getting on your last nerve. So here are my pet peeves about people -

• Those who can’t remember what they have told you and keep repeating the same incident/ conversation over and over again. Some have a pet topic and every time one meets up, they talk about that one topic or one person all the time.
• Those who are extremely rude or wouldn’t think twice before opening their mouths and putting their feet inside. We are civilized people here and expect a little respect and dignity towards others.
• Those manner-less uncooth boors – picking on their nose, loudly burping or farting in public, making loud noises while eating – God Help!
• Those who keep on saying..’I don’t want to interfere in your life but you should do it this way, and next time they will ask, have you done it the way I said?’ Suggestions are welcome but don’t pressurise.
• People who don’t maintain eye contact with you, while talking.
• Men who won’t take the time to put the toilet seat down..HELLO!! it was down when you used it so put it down again.
• The insensitive folks who have to be put in their place. This is pretty common where people in the guise of “pulling your leg” say incorrigible things and say they were joking. Come on, is that the only way you can rise up by pulling others down? Very distasteful!
• Those who don’t listen to others and only want to talk.
• Those gossip mongers who like one’s life’s intimate details to be laid threadbare in public.

• Those who talk very loudly and suddenly something you have whispered in jest is heard by the entire world
• People who don’t like others to enter their house without prior permission but they themselves enter even in the bedroom without informing. Please respect other’s privacy.
• People who insist on holding a conversation with others when you’re on the phone with them. Very annoying.
• Those who turns off the lights when you are still in the room.
• People who don’t dress according to their age.
• People who believe that chain mails can make their wish come true.
• Those who honk in front of a house instead of getting out of the car and ringing the doorbell.
• When you ask someone a simple, straightforward question and they spend ten solid minutes rambling on about everything in the world EXCEPT the answer to your simple, straightforward question? I hate that.
• People who pile too much food on their plates, and then eat only two bites.
• People who don’t wipe their wet muddy feet before coming into my house…HELLO!!  what do you think that mat at the door is for??
• Hubby asking me the same question repeatedly because he was preoccupied and didn’t hear my answer the first time.
